Side Note;

So here I am, I don't feel like blogging really, I have bronchitis AND the flu believe it or not; I have lost 3lbs in four days from not being able to eat, I wake up every 30 minutes because I can't possibly catch my breath with all of the built-up chest congestion, and my 101 fever, well it's all getting a little old. On top of all of the physical exhaustion, emotionally, I'm done. A good friend of mine, Esther Ting dies last night of a heart attack. It wasn't the thought of death I couldn't grasp but the concept. Knowing that we, as young adults, believe that we are indestructible, and we take our lives for granted every day. I know that I have fallen short of being thankful every time I wake up. But I should be. I couldn't understand the numbing feeling I felt when I realized that she wouldn't be coming over anymore and that scarf she left at my house so long ago will now forever be hanging in the hallway closet waiting for it's owner to return. I couldn't quite hold my consuming questions, why now? She was so young, her 19th birthday being in just 16 days; why her? If you knew Esther you would know that every single time she stepped foot in a room it lit up with her smile, her laugh was contagious, and she was always the one to cheer you up. Coming to terms with this isn't happening fast enough, I want to just remember the memories instead of drowning in loss. I'm sorry I haven't been blogging it really isn't a priority right now, I will try to get back to regularly on this soon.

Sorry this isn't too exciting of a post I will make up for it.
