OUTSIDE LANDS RELEASED THEIR LINE UP FOR 2009!

On August 28th-30th, Golden Gate Park in San Francisco will play host to the 2009 Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival - a festival that in it's 2nd year is showing that it means business. Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band and The Beastie Boys top the bill this year at the festival. The announcement came over the wires this morning just a few days before the official festival season kicks off down in Indio at a little festival known as Coachella.

TREASURE ISLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL DATES ANNOUNCED

Last Friday Noise Pop and Another Planet Entertainment announced the dates of the third annual Treasure Island Music Festival. This year the festival will take place on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th. On Saturday, the festival will dedicate two stages to electronic and dance oriented acts and Sunday will feature a line up of national and local indie rock favorites.

LoveFest, one of my favourite local San Francisco events which is held dear to my heart, is now going by the name of 'LovEvolution' ? I'm really not sure if I am down or not, LoveFest was a good name, which I came to know very well but AGAIN? I know it will be just as good, if not better as they will be using this year's Love event to kick off it's newly found name. LovEvolution will be held on October 3 this year, same spot, downtown at the civic center.
And DON'T FORGET: To save up for the after party rave, although LovEvolution is free (donations accepted at the door) the rave is not, but it is well worth your money.

Britney Spears!
As I, and many of you, have heard, Spears' new tour 'Circus' is exploding with circus acts, theatrical additions, and intricate costumes. I have been lucky enough to snag some GREAT seats for her stop at the ORACLE Arena in Oakland, and I am going with a good friend and fellow Britney addict, Becca Taylor. Lucky for me, my birthday is on the 24th so my tickets were apart of my birthday gift! I am so very excited for this concert, I'm just not sure what to wear yet?
